"Ang se ang lagana...Tanwi azmi"
Working in movies of 'Yash Raj Films' is a house like a pleasant ambiance. Holi song "Ang se ang lagana..." The shooting was done in Lonavla. During this shoot, many of our friends and relatives came to the set. The song was choreographed by Tarun Kumar, a famous choreographer from South Indian Film Industry. When Yash Chopra saw the rehearsal of our song, he told the choreographer that these steps are looking very serious. We need a little light and fun choreography in this song. After saying, all the steps were changed.
Honey Irani, Dimple Kapadia, Pamela Chopra (Yash Chopra's wife) and Juhi Chawla's relatives came to Lonavla to see the funny songs of this Holi song. During the shots, they used to play word games together. Yash Chopra not only entertained everyone but also used to feed everyone's favorite dishes.

Badri Ki Dulhania - Shashank Khaitan Director
Shashank showed the festival of Holi in Title Song of 'Badri Ki Dulhania'. Shashank is telling the funny stories of the time while filming this song. Normally the songs of Holi are shot in the day but we had to do something different so we shot it at night. We recreated the setup of the fair. The entire shoot was used without water. Because of this, it was difficult to shoot because the dry colors were flying like dust. That is why the entire crew did the shoot with a mask. Although the actors did not have any option, they had to shoot the entire sequence without a mask. So once Varun Dhawan shouted to me what is going on you, you are sitting on the mask. We are going to paint on the face. But this concept was unique and we were very happy to see the results.
We had shot for three consecutive days, which was tired. We used organic color and even after using the mask, the colors went into our mouth. Technically this was a very challenging shoot but we enjoyed shooting it.

Balam Pichakari: Remo D'Souza Choreographer
About the song, Balam Pichakari, he told that in this song, we shot Holi with the prompt colors. This is one of my favorite songs. It took four days to shoot the songs. There were four stars Ranbir, Deepika, Aditya Roy Kapoor, and Kalki Koechlin Mogudu. It was a fun but difficult shoot. It was difficult to shoot because of the color flying, we had to cover the camera lens and clean it again and again. We also did a fun prank while shooting this song. On the set, we made a tank and filled it with water. Only Aditya Kapoor and Ranbir knew about this, both the heroines did not know about it.
As soon as they both got ready, Ranbir and Aditya put them in the tank and we could capture the natural expression. To shoot the Holi sequence, all actors had taken preoccupations.

Do Me A Favor Lets Play Holi: Vipul Shah-Director
When talk of Holi Song, remembers the song of Amitabh Bachchan 'Rang Baras'. So we wanted that we also film a unique song around Holi. I called Anu Malik and said that I do not want Folk Song and he should not be Typical Hindi Song too. Do Me A Favor Lets Play Holly This Line was given by Anu Malik. Songer Sameer Ji made the song around it. It took us 2.5 to 3 months to prepare this song. Anu Malik was speaking this line so well that I said that you sing this song only. For this song, we had created a pond on the set and I wanted it not to rain during the shooting of this song but the clouds are we were doing it for the sake of the song and you would not believe that five days during the shooting of this song It did not rain but it remained cloudy.
As soon as the entire shoot happened and we heard the packed rains got raging and our entire pond and set flowed in the rain. It was like a miracle. I think this song is so popular because Akshay and Priyanka performed very well in this and the entire team was in involved.
